Greetings from one who cannot sleep this fine hour,

Well this weeks class was about surveys. We get to set one up and I am looking forward to putting mine together. Our survey will be on Stress and how to reconise it within a work place. (For me thats usually when I am under the counter sucking my thumb) I know it not a laughing matter  and I really actually do know all about it as I have travelled this dark path. Anyway I should get back on track, we are setting our surveys up through  a  site called Survey Monkey, yes a stress quiz on Survey Monkey. Does anyone else find this amusing? Okay in case you don't,  a quiz on stress on a site called survey Monkey, a serious subject on a animal that is renoune for being funny and cute. Okay so it is just my strange sense of humour.

When it comes to thinking and writing out our questions it was really hard, but I got there and I will probally change a few no dought.

On a more serious note there is so much stress out there today and it's not just in the work place. I guess in todays society we put a lot of stress on ourselves with our choices. But I think when I am working within a place of employment, I tend to want look out for each of my collegues, why? Because to me my work place is like a family we spend so much time together and go through many different things and circumstances. Familys that work together stick together.

Todays society tells us all the time its all about ME, well I say poo hoo to that, look out for each other, you don't step over boundrys of coarse, respect each other, talk to each other, get to know your fellow work mates. A smile costs nothing.

I have been pretty blessed with my places of work, I have to say. I have definately had challenges, my policy has always been leave my personal baggage at the door on the way in and treat everyday as a fresh start and it the words of a very funny little penguin "Just smile and wave boys, just smile and wave" I just have to say one more thing, where I worked last we had just had a difficult situation and the young staff member came out with the penquins quote, well we all just lost it laughing, thanks Jemma I often think of that moment and you with your quick wit and that what I love about a work family. Praise God.
