My Reflection in starting Cert III Business

It’s amazing how life throws curve balls at you, if you had told me 2 months ago I would be studying at TAFE, I’d have laughed and called you crazy. But here I am, 2 days down and just loving the whole experience.

I realised a few weeks back that I will be needing to finally get a piece of paper to say I am actually qualified in something, yes I am currently Jack of all trades and Master of none, but this is going to change. I recently had applied for a few jobs and was very unsuccessful much to my horror, as I had never come across this rejection before when applying.  In saying this I now realise only after 1 day in class that there is so much more to learn and my attempts at applying for jobs was quite unprofessional, so I am a tad embarrassed now looking back.

With not much sleep I attended my first class yesterday and didn’t know whether I’d sink or swim. To my amazement I actually got through with not too much trouble, Praise God and thank you, prayer answered.

Teachers here, sorry lecturers are here to help and have so much compassion and patience, another praise point. The Young ladies in my class are so young compared to me, but they don’t see that and a young mind is so refreshing sometimes.

The one thing I have defiantly realised is when your older is we know more than we realise and the life skills will be an asset, but there is STILL so much more to learn.

I am so confident that my next attempt at applying for a job I will be so much more professional and organised. Thanks to this awesome course, I am really looking forward to stepping out and learning new skills.
Bless you
Sharon
